Having to go to work is a lot more different than being at school. You've got projects and tasks to work on at both, but I feel like at work my projects are a lot more physical and active. I'm always up and about doing stuff, moving equipment, soundchecking audio, maintaining the instruments. I'm never really sitting in a chair for extended periods of time. But there's also times at school that I miss when topics peaked my interest, and when I found myself genuinely engaged in the work I'm doing. Those moments may be rare, but that just makes them more memorable.
